Our Story
Cook With SuMi is run by SuMi and her mother from their home in Kayamwala, Sigiriya.
What began as cooking for a few curious travellers grew into a small eco kitchen where guests from all over the world grind spices, tend the fire and share a meal at the same table.
Our eco kitchen is open to the garden — firewood stoves, clay pots and vegetables picked that morning. Between the coconut palms you can see Lion Rock, the reason most people come to Sigiriya, and the reason our guests say they never forget this meal.
Nothing here is a set performance. You cook what we cook at home, from recipes handed down through generations, seasoned — as we always say — with love.
